The Linux DirectPlay Masquerading Module is intended to be used with the Linux ip_masq functionality. It is a loadable module which allows multiple clients behind a masquerading server to use the DirectPlay protocol for gaming, either as game clients or hosts. Quake 3 Arena Module ip_masq_q3a is a patch for the ip_masq_quake module to get Q3A working properly on a masquerading (NAT) setup. It is only required on Linux 2.2.x (see the file on how to get it working in 2.0.x without patching). Visit this page for detail.
